MotorPro USAScott Gray, aka Slim - MotorPro USA

My name is Scott Gray, a.k.a. Slim. I’ve had the desire to ride motorcycles all my life, but have always been afraid of the unknown. I would go to the DMV office and take the written test to get my motorcycle temporary endorsement so I could ride my friends’ motorcycle. This was a 5-minute rush when I rode their bike around the block. My hesitation was my lack of experience and knowledge.

I am currently a law enforcement officer, assigned to supervise the motor squad. I began my law enforcement career in 1989, in central Florida. A few years ago I had the opportunity to change from a road supervisor to a motor supervisor. After deciding, “nothing ventured, nothing gained”, I applied for the transfer and never looked back.

Prior to attending police motor school, I actually attended an approved school in Florida so that I could have the real endorsement put on my license. The next day, I bought my first motorcycle so I could have some ride time prior to attending police motorcycle school. This all took place in 2005. During the police motorcycle training, the techniques that were taught were incredible skills used to handle a motorcycle. These are the same techniques that have been taught to other police officers for years. My skill level, as well as my confidence, went from practically zero to being an expert. I now compete in police motorcycle ride competitions and finish with confidence. I apply these skills every time I ride any motorcycle. Anyone can get on a motorcycle, ride it straight, and make a left or right turn. This can be done with confidence, as long as there is no other traffic on the roadway.

These skills are so important to me, that I want to teach them to all of my friends and whoever else will listen. We have put these techniques into a simple and easy to learn system "A B, C & D"™ - Accelerate (throttle), Brake, Clutch, with focus on Direction.

Practice and apply these techniques that are taught in our video, so that you too can be a MotorPro on the highway.
